Personal Injury

Personal injuries include wrongful deaths and any injury arising out of faulty products, dog bites, accidents, and other wrongful acts. A personal injury suffered by an individual may be physical or psychological. Personal injury is usually caused by the negligence or recklessness of another person. Both a civil and a criminal lawsuit can be brought against the offender. In the case of a civil law suit, damages are awarded based upon the intensity of the injury and certain other factors, provided that the injury on the part of the defendant is proved.
