Administrative Law

Administrative law is a branch of public law. Administrative law regulates the activities of the administrative agencies of the government. The agencies perform functions, such as rule making, adjudication, or the enforcement of regulatory agenda. The independent agencies have the authority to legislate and adjudicate. Tribunals, Boards, and Commissions are set up under statutes, and have quasi-judicial powers to decide cases.
